MD's Cache called Dark

Postby Falcon Loader on Wed May 24, 2006 9:25 am

I heard some of you may be heading to "Dark". Come on down! It truly is a fun cache, though I wouldn't have said a 5/5. Then again... the bump on my noggin says maybe  I won't put spoilers, but a few things I suggest...
1. a flashlight - Duh
2. the ability to duck -
3. a kevlar helmet - see above :P
4. a true sence of adventure

We did Dark for a milestone cache, but we'll be back with a friend to do it again! We loved it! No, not quite a 5/5, but it's still a great cache to do! We did the APE cache that day also, which was a lot of fun...

Be glad you did the APE when you did... it has sadly been retired.

PM or email me when you go for Dark again...

I've been hearing talk about this 'Dark' thing for a while. Could someone give me the waypoint to look it up? Or even a link to the cache page?

According to the cache page, its gone missing again. I was hoping to get down there and nab this one, but it was reported missing Feb 7th with no further info from the owner.

yea I have tracked this cache down with my dad (d2d2) and my bro (dudragon). It was a nice one, but definitely disappointing by the 5/5. It was a little different and looked weird walking on the paved trail with big boots on in the summer. Not the most discrete look, but...o well. The park is very well maintained and looks beautiful in the spring. Check it out for the scenery if not for the cache.
